Books make me think.
I never posted while in Dove Creek about my thoughts on The Count of Monte Cristo.
That book was so beautiful, you have no idea.
There are a lot of books that really make you think. The Count of Monte Cristo is one. Edmond, the main character, goes through so many emotions and so many horrible things, that you can't help but feel for him. The woman he loves marries another- not for love but for money, for she is poor. She bears Edmond's enemy a son. For this, he believes that he can never forgive her.
How can you blame him?
While he was locked away in some dungeon on a deserted island, his accusers laid in the lap of luxury. Even though they were false accusations, he still spent thirteen years rotting away.
In then end, he finds he must forgive them for revenge is never sweet.
